Jan Komínek

I am a Senior Frontend / Fullstack Engineer based in Prague, specializing in Vue.js, React.js, and TypeScript while maintaining deep full-stack experience. I currently work as a freelance Senior Frontend Engineer at CORAC Engineering, building technically advanced, cloud-integrated applications, and as a Fullstack Engineer at Intedat, developing robust systems with Node.js, AdonisJS, PostgreSQL, and Redis. A recent highlight is leading the backend and DevOps architecture for Diář FISáka — a university project where I designed the containerized infrastructure, built a Node.js REST API, and implemented async background workers using BullMQ.

My academic background in Applied Computer Science at the Prague University of Economics and Business has broadened my skill set beyond pure development. I’ve gained knowledge in marketing, UX design, economics, management, and data analytics with tools like Microsoft Power BI—enabling me to approach projects from both technical and business standpoints.

Professionally, I’ve taken on roles ranging from IT Support to Frontend and Fullstack Development across diverse environments. These experiences have sharpened my problem-solving abilities and adaptability, especially in freelance and cross-functional team settings. I also bring a foundation in cybersecurity, further strengthening my focus on building secure and dependable systems.
